1 | Greenery

An endless wedding trend over the past few years is greenery. It doesn’t matter what color scheme you have, greenery will always serve as a neutral. Bonus? Adding greenery is so much more affordable alternative flowers if you’re a bride on a budget!

2 | Calligraphy

There’s something so special and personal about handwritten details that makes them really effective in tying everything together. Hire a calligrapher to make certain of a smooth transition between your stationary, menus, signs, and name place cards.

3 | Neutrals

Deciding on a color scheme for your wedding is probably one of the most visibly important things in terms of wedding details, and will set the tone for the celebration. Neutrals have been so popular this year, from blush pink to champagne tones. Going with a neutral color palette will let you play with pops of color and keep things classic.

4 | Flower Arbors

Saying your “I Do’s” under a beautiful arbor decorated with flowers is still in! Get creative with how you choose to decorate and choosing your ceremony backdrop. There are so many ways you can style your arbor, a few of our favorites options are the use of airy fabrics strategically draped (left) and jeweled details (right).

5 | Waterfall Bouquets

While we’re on the topic of florals and greenery, let’s not forget the bouquets. Two words: wild and whimsical. Add a little spunk to your bouquet and imagine flowers and all sorts of greenery spilling out the bouquet like a waterfall. Tie it all together with a silk ribbon and you’re all set to walk down that aisle!

6 | Mismatched Bridesmaid Dresses

This trend has been a constant over the past few years and definitely a fun way to break from tradition! You can have your maid of honor stand out from the rest of your girl gang or have everyone in their own unique dresses. There are so many ways you can achieve this and still have them look coordinated! A few of these include playing around with different embellishments such as sequins and beadings, different shades of fabric, using soft prints like florals or different patterns, and of course, the obvious, using different dress styles! Short sleeve, long sleeve, one shoulder, strapless, you can’t go wrong! All though the point is to be mismatched, make sure they still all coordinate as a whole in some way!
