The Glam Squad Holiday Party {2017}

December 13, 2017

On Monday we talked about some inspiration for holiday parties that may be on your calendar during this month, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect because we had our Glam Squad Holiday Party Monday evening. This year we decided to do something a little different to celebrate the season by partnering with one of our friends and neighbors at The Shoppes at the Renaissance, The Tipsy Sommelier.

Terricina, the woman behind the wine, hosts a variety of different events ranging from winery tours around the state to paint parties. And we thought one of those paint parties would be the perfect way for all of us glammies to celebrate! We each baked our favorite dishes to share and brought along our favorite bottle of wine before sitting down and letting our creative juices flow in a little bit of a different way than we are used to.

Rather than taking a makeup brush to an eyeshadow palette, we each picked up a paint brush to design our customized wine glasses and I am just absolutely obsessed with how creative everyone got. Jane painted the abominable snowman, while my daughter in law to be painted a starry night sky with her soon to be last name. But my favorite part had to be when my beautiful daughter Malory and I decided to surprise one another by painting our wine glasses for one another. And funnily enough we each went with similar themes.

The wine glasses that we made for one another had the same colors, and had quotes from each of our favorite songs. We each made sure the other had no idea what the other was painting. And when we revealed our finished glasses to one another we couldn’t help but laugh and smile at the connection the two of us have.

This was such a fun and unique way for all of us to get together and celebrate a successful wedding season, and the end of 2017. Thank you for the fun and the laughs ladies and thank you for being such a wonderful group of women who inspire me each and everyday!

Check out how amazingly talented the glammies are even when they

put their makeup brushes and curling irons down!
