It seemed to me that we had Laura’s wedding on the books forever, which is because she definitely planned ahead and secured her hair and makeup team well in advance, and you should too 😉  A lot of the timelines you find will recommend you look for your beauty vendor about 6 months out from the big day, but you’ll quickly find that more and more of the reputable companies book up quicker than that.

At Lou Stevens Glam Squad, we are usually booking brides about 9 months out on average.  It can be 12 months though or longer if you are in the peak months of May & June or September & October.  Laura got married June 18th which was a super busy day for us but because she planned so far in advance we had absolutely no problem accommodating her destination wedding party.

Laura and her fiancé had the cutest wedding hashtag I have ever heard of it… her new married last name is now “Sutton” and they’d been together for practically forever.  Their families were friends and so they had been entwined long before they officially became a couple.  So their hashtag, #allofasuttonweremarried , couldn’t have been more perfect!  It will go down in history as one of my favorites for sure.

We are anxiously awaiting more photos from Brittany Anderson Photography, but these will have to do in the mean time!

We should also mention that we brought a whopping 6 stylists to glamify 29 ladies for her special day!  You heard me right, 29 ladies!  We had a team of four stylists in the room with the bride, her maids, and moms, and then there was a second team of two stylists working on 10 additional family members and guests attending her wedding at The Greenbrier.

Every successful Glam Session prior to the wedding should end with a selfie with the super sweet bride and this one was no exception.  Although our hands were a little shaky and this is a bit blurry, we loved it and couldn’t resist sharing how smiley and happy Laura looks in it.

Laura had 10 bridesmaids get the full glam treatment and they almost all chose to sport some updo’s for the day.  It was very warm but our team made sure that they had some hair and makeup to last!  Erica and Lou were rocking makeup while Malory and Amanda cranked out some hair for the ladies.
